Lost & Damned. (Part I)

Duty calls

One month ago, I was part of the Los Santos Police Department under the badge name 'JACKSON', I was the Deputy Chief, a fine man that helped to clean the city alongside his fellow officers. Eh...anyways, I was made a Deputy according to my experience and knowledge within the field. One of the best men I can tell, I was the commanding officer for the Detective Bureau within the department and I had a partner too. In fact, he was the only one that joined the Bureau for that time, he went by the name 'Tyrell Young'. A young kid I liked.

Detective's inspection

Few weeks later, Chief McTaylor calls me in to his office and gives me a documentation report, as soon as I open the document it turns out to be a report about possible corruption within the department. An officer that founded the C.R.A.S.H division who goes by the name 'Frank Tenpenny', I was supposed to make a research and inspection about his suspected corruption, I've been disguising around gangbangers as one of them to see what Tenpenny speaks with them about. Actually, I've always failed to investigate his corruption, it was my first time in his case, it looks like he had an informant within the department who gave him information about undercover officers and detectives. It all started when I was on my way to Grove Street and disguised to inspect about that case, I kept waiting and waiting until eventually my bait comes out. I seen Tenpenny speaking with the Kingpin of the Ganton area, didn't really manage to catch up with their topic as soon as few minutes later a bullet passes right next to me and kills a guy next to me, for me it seemed that the bullet was meant to kill me....or maybe just a warning shot. Everybody quickly ran off and I requested back up but all what I saw and heard was gun shots coming through my direction, luckily I was hiding behind a cover and had to rush out.

Lost & Damned.

After quarter an hour later, I found a car chasing me, I started running quickly to the end but looks like the end was a dead end. It was the beginning of the end. I felt something stunning went through my shoulder just as I closed my eyes and opened them again and fell off the bridge that luckily a river was underneath it. I...woke up in the hospital, brutally wounded and injured. Doctors said that I'll have to stay in the hospital for few months and that I've been in a coma.
